Peerset (“we” or “us”) is an online consumer research, advertising and technology company. We provide this privacy policy so we may inform you about how our technology (“Technology”) processes information on behalf of the online advertisers, website owners and other businesses that use our services (our “Clients”). OVERVIEW OF OUR TECHNOLOGY

Our Technology uses “Profile Data” and “Behavioral Data” to help our Clients deliver relevant online content and advertisements. “Profiles” are generally forms filled out on websites in which users declare information about themselves, which may include interests, affiliations and demographic information. “Behavioral Data” is information about the content users view online. With our Technology, we analyze Profile Data and Behavioral Data to recommend content and show advertisements we believe will be relevant to users. Whether we are showing advertisements on behalf of our clients or we are temporarily licensing information to clients so that they may recommend content or show advertisements using our information, we do not use any of the information collected through our Technology to identify you or anyone else personally.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or real-time location via our Technology.

NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

All the Profile Data and Behavioral Data we collect via our Technology is non-personally identifiable information, which may include but is not limited to your IP host address, self-declared interests, self-declared affiliations, self-declared demographic information, and information about the content you view online.

USE OF COOKIES

Our Technology uses cookies to help make the online advertisements that a user sees more relevant to that user and to measure the success of our clients’ advertising campaigns. A cookie is a small text file that a browser stores on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes and future recognition of that user's computer by the server that placed the cookie. The Peerset cookie contains an automatically-assigned value. This value is a series of letters, numbers and characters that does not contain your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information.

OPTING OUT OF COOKIES

A persistent cookie remains on a user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file. Please note that if you delete, block or otherwise restrict cookies, or if you use a different computer or Internet browser, you may need to renew your opt-out choice.

STORAGE OF NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We retain the anonymous non-personally identifiable information collected via our technology indefinitely.

INFORMATION SECURITY

The security of the information collected through our Technology is important to us. The information is stored anonymously, and is therefore not personally identifiable – even by Peerset. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect information collected by our Technology, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. INFORMATION RELATING TO CHILDREN

Our products and services are designed for those 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable or non-personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If we are made aware that we have received personally identifiable or non-personally identifiable information from someone under 13, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

As described above, we occasionally share non-personally identifiable Profile Data and Behavioral Data collected via our Technology with our clients so they may deliver relevant online content or advertisements to users. However, we contractually require that our clients do not to transfer this information to unaffiliated parties. We may disclose information to third parties when we reasonably believe we are obligated to do so by law, and in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual prohibited activities, including but not limited to, fraud and situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person. Finally, we may transfer information to a successor entity in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate change.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy is subject to change. If we make any material or substantive changes in the way that we use data collected via our Technology, we will post a clear and conspicuous notice of those changes in this privacy policy.
